Standard Rebuild

When your carb arrives, it is first inspected for any shipping damage, and for any obvious defects and/or missing parts. You will be immediately notified of any problems found at this stage so appropriate action can be taken. Then the fun begins. First a trip to the wash rack to remove all the heavy gunk is accomplished. The carb is completely disassembled and soaked in a powerful carb dip to remove all the accumulated varnish and junk that may be lurking inside. Then after rinsing and drying, all passages are blown out and verified clean. All the bleeds, jets and orifices that were previously removed and cleaned are blown out and verified clean. The linkages and brackets at this time are thoroughly cleaned. The carb is now readdy for re-assembly. This is accomplished using a new carb kit. All bench adjustments are done per the Mazda FSM. At this point it is shipped back to you, ready to go.

Sterling Carb

ll of the steps in the standard rebuild are included. Along with that there is a substantial amount of hand and machine work done to the carb to enhance its airflow capability without sacrificing too much low end driveability. Along with this, the airbleeds are modified to accept replaceable airbleeds that are available at any speedshop and are also common to the fuel jets, simplifying the number of jets/bleeds you may need for tuning purposes. Included with the carb is a tuning guide to help you get the most out of your new Nikki. This carb will now flow 465 CFM in contrast to the stock Nikki's 300 CFM.

Banana Carb (under development)

This is intended for use on ported engines. The same steps as the standard and the Sterling carb are performed. In addition to these, the carb is further modified for even more airflow to support the needs of a streetported engine and possibly a bridgeported engine depending on where the flow numbers end up. We're fairly optimistic that we can reach this goal. Flow numbers will be published as soon as its finalized and ready for market.
